    El Land Cruiser está pensado para rutas fuera de lo habitual: el Kaokoland, el valle de Marienfluss, el paso de Van Zyl, las pistas de arena del Khaudum, el remoto noreste — itinerarios largos y aislados con cuatro adultos, depósitos llenos de agua y combustible y varios días entre repostajes. Carga más peso que el Hilux y es el vehículo que usan nuestros propios guías en esa zona. Tiene cambio manual, es más ruidoso, consume más y cuesta el máximo por día. Para Sossusvlei, Swakopmund y Etosha, es más vehículo del que exige la ruta.
