    Who this vehicle is for

    This is the vehicle for people sleeping in lodges and campsite chalets who still want a proper double-cab bakkie underneath them: diff lock, two spares, a lockable canopy for luggage and the same clearance as our camping vehicles. Take it if your route includes Kaokoland gravel, the Van Zyl's approach roads or long D-road days but you have no intention of pitching a tent. If you want to camp even a few nights, the camping version costs a few hundred rand more per day and saves you hiring gear.
