Okaukuejo
The famous floodlit waterhole. Busiest, biggest, and the one where you'll see rhino at night more reliably than anywhere else in Africa. Camp pitches are dusty but the waterhole is the point.
Halali
Central Etosha, quieter, its own (excellent) floodlit waterhole — often more elephant action than Okaukuejo. Better-shaded campsites. Our pick for second-time visitors.
Namutoni
Eastern gate, restored German fort, palm-shaded pitches. The waterhole is smaller but the historic atmosphere is unique. Pair with one night Okaukuejo for the best mix.
Book early
All three are run by NWR and sell out 8–12 months in advance for July–September. We hold inventory for clients — phone if the public site shows sold out.
