CCF outside Otjiwarongo is the world's leading cheetah research facility. The visitor centre is open daily and the cheetah-feeding tour is one of the most accessible big-cat experiences in Namibia.
What you do there
Self-guided museum + cheetah viewing at the resident enclosures. The premium add-on is the cheetah run / feeding tour — 90 minutes, around NAD 850 pp. Worth it for first-timers, especially with kids.
Where to fit it
Last day driving from Etosha back to Windhoek. Adds 90 minutes including the visit. Leave Etosha by 09:00, lunch at CCF, Windhoek by 17:00.
Honest caveat
These are habituated rescued cheetahs, not wild sightings. If you've already had cheetah on game drive, the experience may feel zoo-like. If you haven't, it's brilliant.
