Yes, with a few non-negotiables. What works, what to skip, and the lodges that quietly welcome under-fives.

    Where it works

Sossusvlei (open landscapes, sand to play in, easy lodge pools). Etosha (waterhole game viewing from car — toddlers love elephants up close). Swakopmund (cool coastal break, beach, ice cream).

    Where to skip

Sandwich Harbour 4x4 (dune drops, long day). Sossusvlei balloon (under 7 not permitted). Anything requiring 4+ hours in the car.

    Lodge picks

Gondwana Etosha Safari Lodge (family rooms, pool). Sossus Dune Lodge (early gate access — short, easy mornings). The Delight Swakopmund (family suites, kid-friendly menu). Damara Mopane (free-standing bungalows = nap-time peace).

    The trip length

10 days max with toddlers. Two-night stays minimum at each stop. Build in two pure rest days at the lodge pool. Don't try the 14-day route under-5.
