Most travellers arrive mid-morning. Take 2 hours to nap or shower. Lunch on Independence Avenue or at the hotel.
Vehicle briefing (typically day 2 morning)
Our agent meets you at the hotel at 08:00. 90 minutes covering the vehicle, the camping kit if applicable, insurance, route advice, the 24/7 emergency line. Don't skip questions.
First drive
Most clients head south to Sesriem (350km, 5 hours including stops). Easy day — tar 70%, gravel 30%, fuel stops at Rehoboth and Solitaire. Lodge by 16:00.
