Day 1: Arrival Windhoek
You will be picked up by a Namibia Destinations guide. Our first night we spend in the exclusive Erindi Private Game reserve, the biggest private game reserve in Namibia. Upon arrival we will be greeted by the friendly staff and shown to our rooms. We can enjoy a game drive in the afternoon where we can see plenty of plains and hopefully elephant, giraffe and rhino. We end of the night with an exquisite dinner in the lodge and a night cap around a fire.
Day 2: Ghaub Lodge (Otavi Mountains) / Grootfontein
Today after our breakfast we head North on our way to the Caprivi, because of the long drive we stop for a night in the beautifull mountains of Otavi, there is always plenty of rain and the grass is green. We rest for the next days long drive to the Caprivi.
Day 3: Caprivi: Poppa Falls
After an early breakfast we head North to the Caprivi where we will spend the evening on the river bed of the kavango river with the hippos and crocodiles surrounding us. We can go for a game drive in the Mahango national park where we can see Elephants, Lions, lechwes, Ran antilopes and bushbuck, some of the animals we can only see in this area in their natural habitat. We will also drive past the big baobab tree. We end of the night with a dinner in the restaurant on the river bed with the hippos grunting in the near.
Day 4: Bwa Bwatwa National Park
We start off the day with a breakfast cruise on the kavango river. Afterwards we head to the East Caprivi to the bwa Bwatwa national park to out lodge on the Kwando river. While we drive through the park, on our way to lodge we need to keep our eyes peeled for Buffalo and elephant. We end off the day with a dinner in the lodge with a prime piece of game meat.
Day 5: Katima Mulilo
Today we head to Katima Mulilo where we can spend the day getting to know the town and topping up on any refreshments for the road further. We can also see the locals catching tiger fish in the mighty Zambezi river and we can also go on a fishing excursion to see if we can catch a tiger fish, which is an experience of a lifetime on its own.
Day 6 & 7: Kasane (Chobe Botswana)
After a hearty breakfast we make our way to Kasane, we have to go through the border where they will stamp our Visas. When we go through the border we have reached the point in Africa with highest concentration of elephants (Chobe national Park) we drive through the park and hope to see elephants, sables and other plains game until we reach the town of Kasane. Here we spend the next two days exploring the town and enjoying the following activities:
- Boat Cruises on the Okavango Delta (Pan Handle)
- Game Drives in the Chobe National park
- Breeding Island for Buffalos
- Exploration of the Town and surroundings.
Day 8 & 9: Victoria falls
After our two days in Kasane and the Chobe Park, we make our way to Victoria Falls, One of the 7 wonders of the world, this is a place with inexpressible charm. When we arrive we will check into our rooms and get informed about the activities that are available in Victoria Falls. We recommend:
- Flight of Angels with a helicopter over the Falls with a view like no other
- The walking route from the start to the end where we walk past the Devils Cataract and the rainbow coming out of the falls
- Elephant rides
- Bungee Jump between Zambia and Zimbabwe
- Bridge Swinging
- River Rafting on the Zambezi
Day 10: Windhoek Return
Today we catch a flight back to Windhoek (Hosea Kutako International Airport)
